Shobha Sreekumaran, Director Shobha has more than twenty years of experience in teaching and training. She loves her work and is totally committed to working with children, parents, schools and the community on issues and challenges concerning them. Through her leadership, Nirnay today, is actively involved with schools and corporates, educating children, parents and teachers through varied programs such as Child Protection, Child Counseling and Sexual Health Education. She has completed her masters in Literature from Madras University.   Sunitha Joseph Sunitha loves to create training modules through research & development. Several of the modules she has created are part of Nirnay’s flagship programs. She has more than ten years experience working with people. When she is not working on content, Sunitha trains and counsels in schools. Prior to joining Nirnay, she was involved with community development through ACT, a registered NGO. Sunitha has completed her Masters in Social Work (with specialization in Urban and Rural Community development) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences.   Shinnie Steven Shinnie has more than ten years of experience in the field of social work. She is a counselor and trainer with Nirnay and presently works with schools through counseling programs and corporates through awareness programs to employees on issues pertaining to children and adolescents. She has completed her Masters in Psychology from Madras University. She has also completed her Certificate course in Counseling (based on the Robert Carkhuff model) from Heart to Heart Counseling Centre.   Vipulata Arvind Vipulata is an Educator and works with the municipal and Marathi schools in the city of Mumbai. She is an excellent communicator and enjoys youth work. She has completed her Bachelors degree and Diploma in Education and is presently pursuing her masters in Sociology.   Supriya Vigy Supriya is a Postgraduate in Nursing. She passed out as a Gold Medalist and has over ten years of experience in teaching medicine to nursing college students in Hinduja College of Nursing. It is her passion to make a difference in the lives of children and adolescents that drew her to Nirnay. Today, she works as Counselor and Trainer and is also involved in extending Nirnay Programs to Hindi medium schools in Mumbai. Supriya is currently pursuing her Masters in Psychology.   Rabina James Rabina is a Trainer and Educator with Nirnay. She has completed her Bachelors in Theology. She is the Nirnay administrator and when not in schools, she’s busy managing the entire backend administration and support for the staff. She has been with Nirnay for the past one years and is an integral part of the team.   Anubhuti Lal Anubhuti is a Trainer and Educator with Nirnay. After completing her Masters in Social Work (specialization in Social Welfare Administration) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, she worked with Oasis India, a Mumbai-based NGO in projects dealing with human trafficking. She presently facilitates Nirnay Program in schools and corporates.   Ruby Daniel Ruby is a Student Counselor and Trainer with Nirnay. After completing her Masters in Social Work (specialization in Medical and Psychiatry) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, she worked with Oasis India, a Mumbai-based NGO in projects dealing with children infected and affected with HIV/ AIDS. She enjoys working with children and adolescents and is deeply committed to their cause.
